Britney Spears -- Hotel Mommy

Multiple sources tell TMZ that Britney's first scheduled visit with her children since being stripped of custody was a disaster.

We're told Spears was to have a scheduled visit with her kids at 10:00 AM Thursday, surrendering the kids to K-Fed later that day. Sources say on Wednesday night, Britney decided she wouldn't see her children at either of her homes -- instead, she wanted to visit with her kids at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel. We're told K-Fed's lawyer, Mark Vincent Kaplan, went ballistic.

The way we understand it, a parenting coach was supposed to be present for the visit, and Kaplan felt it was appropriate for the coach to counsel Britney on how to take care of her kids at home -- not at a hotel.

We're told Spears, who checked into the Beverly Wilshire Hotel at 6:00 PM Wednesday and then checked out at 2:00 AM Thursday, went back to her Malibu home and decided not to fight for her desire for a hotel visit with her children.

At 10:00 AM Thursday, the scheduled time for visitation, a K-Fed bodyguard arrived at Brit's Malibu home and rang the buzzer. He waited forty minutes -- but no one came out. With the kids inside the car, we're told the plug was finally pulled and they all went back to K-Fed's.

16. Obviously just trying to avoid those people with the "brief cases and funny plastic badges", that keep showing at the home in the evening. Bet she gets contempt for not showing personally at the next hearing as ordered!

17. Truly sad. I don't have kids, but I imagine when I do they will be my entire world, how can she be so nonchalent about her own babies?? what has to happen to a mother's mind to ever become that way?? i don't get it

19. Seriously...again about Britney? I think it's alarming that I know more about Brit-Brit than I know about my cousins...

Is it really important? Can anyone say that Briitu's hotel-request was unexpected? I'd really wish to know if that woman's just stupid or is there's something more serious. Why can't she act sensible for once?

20. She does whtever she needs to in order to continue receiving ANY attention she can get, at ANY price. You have to believe if everyone stopped following her, stopped writing about her, in general, stopped caring, she would either settle down or become a statistic. The way she is now, it wouldn't be much of a loss either way.

21. Spears is passive/aggressive, and is always trying to control proceedings in some kind of juvenile way, with juvenile being the key word here. She's acting out, and no one is going to tell her what to do. She still thinks things should be on her terms, and doesn't seem to realize that things are way past that now. Sad. She's not getting with the program. Still.

22. Just tells you how truly serious she is about those babies. Brittany comes first....always. She is a selfish self absorbed narcissist. I keep hearing how she does care about her kids. I don't believe it. I can bet you she was still sleeping from being out all night when they arrived at her place at 10 AM for the visit. My heart goes out to those wonderful children who I'm sure were anticipating seeing their mother. I'm sure they were disappointed. She doesn't deserve them.

24. Or she wants to meet at the hotel because her homes are a mess, and all her staff have quit in frustration, and she doesn't 'do' cleaning.

25. She doesn't want the kids. K-Fed wants her to have the kids back more than she wants to have them. He obviously wants her to be a good mom. You don't have a "parenting coach" in the home unless you expect the mom will be taking care of them in the home. So K-Fed and the court are trying to get her to be a good mother so she will be able to get the kids back. See how that works.

She's having none of it.

26. Conky--
The parenting coach needs to see her with her children in their normal environment and watch their interactions. A hotel is an artificial, temporaty environment. The parenting coach is there to help her get to establish a normal parent/child relationship with her kids. As it is, Ms. Spears is apparently the third child in this situation.

27. I hope and pray the judge locks her up for contempt of court. The sad thing is that her insane supporters will stick by her after she REFUSED TO SEE HER CHILDREN FOR A SCHEDULED VISIT. Notice how she got her license, which helps her, but has done NOTHING else that would actually benefit the children? And her single is doing well? Where is the justice in this world? What is wrong with you people?

Something is not right when a mom does not want to see her own children,yes children are a huge responsibility and if she no longer wants them then why doesn't she just admit it and quit dragging this on.For Gods sake the girl cant even remember to wear panties much less to pick up her own kids.
